The Golden Pass LNG Terminal is designed to handle a range of LNG ships up to and including the largest vessels in service today (known as Qatar-Max or Q-Max), which have a total capacity of up to 266,000 cubic meters of LNG.

Berthing Facilities
There are two unloading berths at the Golden Pass LNG Terminal, both capable of handling the larger vessels. The berths are equipped with the latest technology, including mooring and tension monitoring systems, cargo transfer systems, gangway and associated safety equipment including emergency shutdowns.
